When I lived in Denmark, I was able to take a tour of Sømods Bolcher factory. They are a candy factory right in the middle of Copenhagen, who specialize in a hard candy called bolcher. It's production is very similar to a glass "caning" method, leading to candies that have pictures in them. This has remained in my memory and led me to a fascination with micro-mosaic jewelry. Which ultimately leads us to Nørregade 37. It's centerpiece is a micro-mosaic broach, and is surrounded by all manner of "toys." Antique cracker jack prizes, doll house food canisters, vintage buttons and even a pocket knife, The colors, the fun, we hope you enjoy it!
