Að leggja höfuðið í bleyti

"Að leggja höfuðið í bleyti" Is an Icelandic proverb, and it translates to "Lay your head in water." It is a reference to stopping for moment to evaluate and make the right decision. My husband found the articulated fish centerpiece at the Brimfield Antique Fair. It provided the inspiration for the rest. A copper chainmail necklace filled with vintage blue willow doll house tea pieces, blue dyed geodes, antique cracker jack prizes, faceted glass beads and faux pearls. Finished with some vinatage earring pieces, it's a blue moment (right down to the eyes of the fish.)
